Dr. Aditya A. Phirke is a Consultant Physician & Intensivist with specialised training in Internal Medicine and Critical Care. He provides comprehensive medical care for adults, with expertise in evaluating and managing common illnesses, complex medical conditions, acute medical emergencies and patients requiring critical care. His clinical approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment and personalised care.
Dr. Phirke has valuable experience in Critical Care and Intensive Care Medicine at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai, where he worked as a Junior Intensivist and IDCCM Registrar in the Intensive Care Unit. His responsibilities included the management of critically ill patients requiring close monitoring, timely intervention and multidisciplinary care, with exposure to serious infections, medical emergencies, organ dysfunction and other complex conditions requiring advanced medical support.
He completed his IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) from the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) at Saifee Hospital, Mumbai, following which he completed his MD in Internal Medicine from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Deemed to be University (KIMSDU), Karad, after completing his MBBS from Rural Medical College, PIMS, Loni. He is also BLS and ACLS certified and has received specialised training in Airway Management, further strengthening his capabilities in emergency and critical care.
With a strong background in Adult Medicine, Dr. Phirke manages a broad range of medical conditions, including fever and infections, diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory illnesses, asthma, thyroid disorders, digestive and liver diseases, kidney-related conditions, anaemia, nutritional deficiencies, unexplained weakness and fatigue. He also evaluates patients with multiple medical problems who require detailed assessment and coordinated treatment.
His medical training includes experience as a Junior Resident in Medicine at Krishna Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Karad, and as a Houseman in Medicine at Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar. These roles provided him with clinical exposure to a wide spectrum of adult medical conditions and patient management in hospital settings.
